Ketz-ke Fashion Label Take to Instagram to Showcase Winter Collection
Posted onKetz-ke has launched New Zealand’s first ever Instashow, "This Is Me" showcasing its winter collection in a unique pairing of realtime fashion and online social media marketing.
Released on the brand’s Instagram account, the Ketz-ke show was shot editorial style by fashion photographer James Lowe. Five influential New Zealand women - models, bloggers, DJs and journalists - each already with their own online presence, agreed to be at the centre of the project.
Ketz-ke designer Jenny Drury realised the potential for social media to make fashion more inclusive by providing an accessible fashion platform that Ketz-ke shoppers would naturally turn to, to inspire their fashion choices.
Fashion blogger and collaborator on the Instagram campaign, Maddy Budd says there is an authenticity about picking up fashion inspiration from real people on Instagram. "I love the idea of seeing your friends wear an item and then wanting to wear it too."
Ketz-ke designs are an unexpected mix of prints and textures in stylish, contemporary combinations. "We strive to create clothing that will make you feel strong, empowered yet relaxed and hope this shines through," said Drury.
